She said that there is no documentation that I cancelled on March 2, and that she would mail me a copy of the bill that they are working to collect. She said my account was cancelled for non-payment and I was sent to collections. She confirmed that no letter had ever been sent to me to inform me of the charges. On November 7, I called Body Xchange and spoke with *********, who stated that there was no record of my cancellation. Body Xchange subsequently closed from March-May due to the pandemic. It seemed like chaos because of the pandemic. I called to cancel and was told that I needed to cancel this account in person, which I did. I was shocked when on November 6, I received a letter from a collections agency stating I was in collections for $189 from Body Xchange due to this account never being closed. I cancelled on March 2 due to the pandemic. When I signed up I was told I could cancel at anytime with no penalty. I used to be a member of Body Xchange, on a month to month basis.
